The Jardin Vert is a 4-hectare urban park located beneath the ramparts of Angoulême, offering a relaxing space with gardens, waterfalls, ponds, and playgrounds for children.

Created in 1858 by the Bordeaux landscape architect Louis-Bernard Fisher, the Jardin Vert stretches along the ramparts to the west of the city. In 1932, the park was enhanced with fountains, waterfalls, and a “Theater of Nature,” reinforcing its role as a place for relaxation and strolls for residents and visitors alike.
