Vindelle Swimming Area

The Vindelle swimming area is located on the Charente River and offers free access to everyone. The area is equipped for safe swimming, with a lifeguard on duty during the summer season.

Visitors can enjoy picnic tables, a children’s playground, a pétanque court, and a volleyball court. A bar and shops are also available for relaxing with a drink or a snack.

For those who enjoy water sports or boat trips, canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, and stand-up paddleboards are available for rent. The Vindelle Canoe and Kayak Club welcomes families and groups for outings on the Charente River, offering a peaceful experience as you glide along the water.

Around the swimming area, hiking trails let you explore the lush natural surroundings and local wildlife. The trails vary in length and difficulty, ranging from flat paths to hilly trails, suitable for all skill levels.
