Champniers Organic Market

Located in Les Prés de l'Or, in Champniers, north of Angoulême, the Champniers organic market is an event dedicated to organic products and locally sourced foods. It allows residents and visitors to meet dedicated producers and discover local, seasonal, and environmentally friendly food.

Created to foster connections between consumers and producers, this market brings together organic producers from Charente offering a wide variety of products: fruits and vegetables, poultry, meats, bread, brioche, wines, juices, cheeses, yogurts, and other local organic goods. Direct sales encourage interaction with producers and provide a better understanding of the origin of the products on offer.

The market is part of Champniers’ local initiative to support short supply chains. The town also hosts a traditional market every Saturday morning on the Place de l’Église, as well as a seasonal “Marché des Producteurs de Pays” at Les Prés de l’Or, showcasing the region’s farm-fresh and artisanal products.
