European Hot Air Balloon Cup

24th edition.

On July 31, Angoulême will have its eyes on the sky as the biennial European Hot Air Balloon Cup takes place.

After taking off from the Ferme des Valettes and the Leclerc Chauvin Stadium, more than 60 balloons from all over Europe will put on an aerial show that is as poetic as it is impressive above the city.

Schedule:

• 5:30 p.m.: Doors open to the public.
• 6:00 p.m.: Presentation of the competition.
• 7:00 p.m.: Pre-event briefing with the pilots.
• Starting at 7:30 p.m.: hot-air balloons take off.
