Aumì
About
Based in Puymoyen, just a few minutes from Angoulême, Aumì is a gourmet restaurant founded by chef Mickaël Clautour and Laura Legeay. The restaurant is housed in a historic building where the original features have been combined with a contemporary, minimalist décor. The cuisine evolves with the seasons and draws heavily on produce sourced from local producers. The menus change every two months.
Aumì was awarded a Michelin star in March 2023.
We love
- * French gourmet cuisine centred on fresh, seasonal produce.
- Menus that change regularly, every two months.
- The contemporary setting housed in a former country house.
- Its proximity to the Eaux-Claires Valley, which is a lovely place to extend your outing with a stroll.

The ethos
Aumì favours a contemporary gastronomic approach in a setting that is both elegant and welcoming. The set menu is particularly well-suited to a lunch or dinner dedicated to discovering the chef’s cuisine. The restaurant also offers a three-course children’s menu.
